The consequences of cheap things : CCH WK 19

Comedy club house prompt for the week made me remember a funny unpleasant encounter I had.

A saying "had I know is a brother to Mr late" was more than a saying on that very good day.

Well, you won't blame me, there is this stitch of jumping on freebies in me that caused me harm.

Now I am blaming management, well I suffered the consequences.
Did I learn?
Yes, I did.

I had a tailor who makes my outfit but things started to change with her as she upgraded and of course her charge increased too.

But, she is good and always delivers on time.

A wedding came up that I needed to attend,I bought my material on time and was reluctant to give it to my tailor.

A friend of mine introduced a new tailor to me with a good price, an amount way cheaper than my tailor's charge.

I was so happy that I have found a cheaper place to sew my clothes.
The other of my friend advised me to give the material to my tailor, though the price is tempting but sounds untrue.

Omo, I saw that my other friend as enemy of progress oo.
"So, this girl wants to spend extra money just to sew a cloth?, where did she even see the money?"

I didn't follow her advice, as I bounced to the new tailor's shop and gave her my material, she took measurements and we agreed on a day to come pick it up.

I intentionally choose at least a week to the wedding day to avoid disappointment.

The day reached, and I went to collect my cloth.

Hmmm, brethren.
The cloth did not even size me.
I was now wondering where all the material went to.
There was no allowance self to reshape.

Ahhhhh
My body became so hot as she was trying to explain her nonsense.

I didn't even talk much, I just carried the cloth home, at least my niece will wear it.

I quickly went to the market and bought another material, I went straight to my tailor without looking back.

I didn't even bargain price with her because the time to deliver was already limited and I didn't want her to ask me further why I bought the material late, because she knows I don't indulge in rush hour.
