This is class man. I'd say it feels brilliant to be playing a sport you've loved for so long. You get a true appreciation of the skill, fitness and guille of the inter county lads when you play a bit of ball yourself. For me it's the keepers that impress me most with full stretch diving saves, it's unreal, Nickie Quaid the pick of the current crop. Some legend...
It's great fun being part of a team again.
Been a lot of years since i had anything competitive and now that we are getting back on track for the championship it gives me a good reason to get off my arse again and get fitter.
At least we have the all Ireland semi finals coming up next weekend to enjoy even if it's the end of the road for the year. Quaid is a top keeper as well to be fair. Tough spot to be in for matches.
