speaking from a "dance mum" side rather than "Rugby" side, i can totally see how it happened. Just takes a couple of hot heads and "off it blows".
Ive never understood myself, im the dance mum that would lend a competitor my kids costume if i saw them crying in the dressing room. But if certainly seen my share of dance mum arguments side stage.
Its beyond embarrassing. What sort of example are they sending their kids... sigh...
Yes definitely the wrong type of messages being sent. I agree I would also help a competitor if they needed something I could help them with. There is more to sport than just the event as it is way bigger than that as these are people and other kids involved. I would be grateful if someone had offered to help my kid and I was not around to assist.
