🔥TROPHY IN SIGHT AFTER 22 YEARS OF PAIN:Arsenal’s Epic Road to Premier League Glory Ignites as Saka Strikes & City Slip Up! 🚀

in Sportsblock2 months ago (edited)

Hey Hive fam! If you’re an Arsenal supporter , buckle up. As of today March 4, 2026, the Gunners are one giant step closer to ending their 22-year Premier League drought.Arsenal just ground out a gritty 1-0 win away at Brighton (Bukayo Saka’s early strike doing the business), while closest rivals Manchester City dropped points in a shocking 2-2 draw at home to Nottingham Forest.

MATCH MOMENTS

Arsenal now sit 7pts clear at the top with 67 points from 30 games(20W-7D-3L, +37 GD).
Manchester City, have 60pts from 29 games (18W-6D-5L, +32 GD) and still have a game in hand but those two dropped points at the Etihad feel massive. The trophy isn’t just in sight it is practically glowing red and white.
Need I remind you that it was(2003/04) 22 yrs since the Invincibles team of Arsene Wenger called “Invincibles” went unbeaten the entire season lifting the trophy 🏆 .Since then,it has been heartbreak after heartbreak. Three back to back runners-up finishes under Mikel Arteta (2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25) had fans screaming “close but no cigar.” 😂 crazy right,I can't blame them.Just take a look 👇

THREE consecutive runner-up finishes under Arteta:

  • 2022/23 - 2nd (84 points, behind Man City

  • 2023/24 - 2nd (89 points, behind Man City)

  • 2024/25 - 2nd (74 points, behind Liverpool)

This season feels different. Arteta took over a mid-table mess in 2019 and turned it into a machine: rock-solid defence, lethal set-pieces, and squad depth that screams “champions.” The 22-year wait ends this May if the Gunners hold their nerve and today’s results just handed them rocket fuel.

What Happens Next? The Run-In That Will Define History

8-9 games left. The big one, which is Arsenal vs Manchester City in April. But City also face Champions League distractions and a Carabao Cup final against Arsenal!
The Gunners Current lead, plus City’s dropped points tonight means Arsenal can afford a couple of draws if they keep winning. Goal difference is healthy (+37 vs City’s +32). The pressure is now squarely on Pep Guardiola’s side to win every single game.

Why This Feels Like “The Year” for Arsenal Fans

No more “what ifs.” This squad has the mentality, the depth, the leader in Arteta, and now momentum after rivals slipped. The 22-year curse is Shattered. The Invincibles legacy is Reborn.
Hive fam, if you’re reading this with your Arsenal jersey on,this is it.The trophy parade is loading… COYG! 💥🏆
Drop your predictions below: Will Arsenal win it by 5+ points or go down to the wire? Let’s celebrate the journey, the greatest redemption in modern football is happening right now.

That city result was huge for Arsenal.
It just takes the pressure off them now and gives them space to play. I expect them to win the title now where i didn't know last week.

I quite agree with you 💯, those points drop was a huge relief. The pressure was just too much. The league is now theirs to lose.Next two premier League games is at home. Man City vs Chelsea, is almost around the corner.Thank you 🙏 for stopping by.
