Overview

Implementation, formalisation and harmonisation of the current Musicoin Ambassador Program to a clearer, better shared, more decentralised and fairer process with a five level seniority system that is easier to monitor. We are asking the new ambassadors to share half of the reward received from the Musicoin Foundation to tip Musicoin artists. Inspired by all the great ambassadors who have joined the evolving Ambassador Program. Inspired by the last half/half Steemit curation system as well. "The more you tip, the more you receive!"

1. Specifications of the program

The process will be based on the current Musicoin Ambassador Program with better integration of Sharism: “The More you share, the more you receive” (Take a look at the Musicoin White Paper page 20). The more ambassadors share their time, their passion, their love, their $music - the more artists and the community will benefit from it, both in the short-term and long-term perspectives. In compensation for their time and effort, Ambassadors will receive twice the amount they share with other artists on the platform.
New ambassadors share the M.A.P. vision by filling in the subscription form on the M.A.P. website (the same as before), in order to receive $music rewards. Ambassadors decide on the monthly form in which wallet they want to receive it.

1.1. Starting from First month (1st level) Believer (around 4 hours/month)

An ambassador receives 80.000 $music then they must share half of it, by tipping Musicoin artists with at least 40.000 $music and by filling in the monthly form to on to the second month (2nd level). They increase their music power.

1.2. Second month or more (2nd level) Ambassador (around 8 hours/month)

An ambassador receives 120.000 $music then they must share half of it, by tipping Musicoin artists with at least 60.000 $music and by filling in the monthly form to go on to the third month (3rd level)

1.3. Third month or more (3rd level) Ambassador (around 12 hours/month)

Each ambassador receives 160.000 $music then they must share half of it, by tipping Musicoin artists with at least 80.000 $music and by filling in the monthly form to go on to the fourth month (4th level)

1.4. Fourth month or more (4th level) Ambassador (around 16 hours/month)

Each ambassador receives 200.000 $music then they must share half of it, by tipping Musicoin artists with at least 100.000 $music and by filling in the monthly form to go on to the fifth month (5th level)

1.5. Fifth month or more (5th level) Ambassador office (around 20 hours/month)

An ambassador continues to encourage Musicoin artists and they can join our Ambassador Office to start checking and monitoring the action of other ambassadors directly on the platform, on the chats and on https://explorer.musicoin.org/.

2. Guidelines for the ambassador

To help the new ambassadors, we would like to share some thoughts about the how to tip process: Try to keep tipping between 100 and 1000 $music and for very good songs - up to 5000. It seems to better harmonise the process, with the time each ambassador spends listening to the songs.
A rough estimate is around 20 songs listened to within an hour, with an average of 500 $music tipped to each song, makes around 10,000 $music per hour for each ambassador.
Ambassadors can find songs they have never heard before in new releases, new artists, and with specific search words or musical genres. If the new artist is not verified yet, the ambassador should leave a message on the song page, to inform the artist to contact [email protected] to finalize verification. 2.1. Musicoin Curation account or other specific account

From the second month an Ambassador can create a special Musicoin curation account with an associated social network account, to better encourage specific categories of artists:

Musicoin Regional account (like Musicoin Portugal, Greece, Russia, Italia, Romania,...). To start a Musicoin Regional account, please fill in the Musicoin Regional Coordination Form.
Musical Genre account (Musicoin Hip Hop, Rock, Jazz, ...)
From the fifth month onwards (5th level) an Ambassador can start executing specific tasks to serve Musicoin artists with a specific account linked to Musicoin official on social.
Specific Musicoin Account (Musicoin TV, Artist of the week, ….) with dedicated tasks
Cross-chain development with other blockchain projects like Hive, DTube, 3Speak, Steemit, Whaleshare, PubblishOx, Weku, Read.Cash, ...

3. Music Share

So what is Music Share? It is the power to encourage artists inside the platform with tips and messages. The evolution of levels 1 to 5 will change, I presume we will create more levels, and the ratio between the shared part and the received part will change too in order to the variation of $music price.

3.1. Guding principle: Sharism

The concept of Sharism, coined by Isaac Mao, has been promoted and incorporated into the Musicoin Ambassador Program by Lorenzo Pistolesi since 2019.
Sharism is a socio-psychological attitude that enables everyone within a community to reorient their personal values for the improvement of the community as a whole, so as to overcome the limitations of an isolated intelligence (Isaac Mao) and eliminate the prisoner’s dilemma for all participants (Wishnewsky)

3.2. Raise awareness to encourage artists, music and promote Musicoin.

Growing awareness can be achieved mostly inside the platform, but also in various other ways including the use of social media promotion, participation in online or offline music communities and enrolling more enthusiasts to the Musicoin platform - or into the Ambassador Program. Musicoin values creativity, passion, sharism and action.

I have spent more than 2 years as a verified artist and close to 2 years as an ambassador. I have been running the new Musicoin Ambassador process for 1 year as coordinator. I have also been a crypto artist for more than 2 years on other blockchain platforms like Hive, DTube, 3Speak, BitTuber, Lbry, Steemit, Whaleshares, Publish0x, Weku, HyperSpace (dead) and Choon (dead), and I discovered that it is possible for an artist to monetize his music content on the blockchain.
This document is a formalisation of how the Musicoin ambassador program works right now. It is a 2 year long project evolution so far, starting with action and observation of the Musicoin Ambassador Program from inside, overseeing the great work of many, many glorious ambassadors who run the Program alongside me.
