We had 7 contestants left. It was the quarter final. I was looking forward to seeing how this one played out and how long this competition might last. Well we have a record on Hive already. We made it to week 11. There were no surprises or no bloodbaths this year. It was one or two getting picked off week by week. 6 remained and then the bloodbath finally arrived. It arrived so must that 6 participants got whittled down to one person. The Last Man / Woman standing. Dah dah dum. Ladies and Gentleman . We have a winner!!!!!

OK now that you know who the winner is, I would like to talk abit about @teofilex11 . He is a European guy from Serbia which is a stunning part of the world. Loves his footie from some of his posts and has smashed Last Man Standing. He is a first time entrant to Hive last man standing so he has arrived.

Basically every team he picked has won in the last 11 weeks. If Teo did this in the bookies he would be getting quite the payout. Congratulations to him on winning last man standing. So how did the other 5 remaining contestants fair. Well 3 of us including myself went for Wolves to beat Sheffield United who had not won a game all season. But they bloody won at the weekend knocking 3 out. Well played to @funshee and @twicejoy and myself :-D. @blockchainfpl we have to say goodbye to you as well after inconsistent Villa got beat by Nottingham Forest at the weekend. Another major upset. However well played. We were unlucky. @iamchuks decided not to make a selection this week and this happened once before so he was eliminated from the contest. And this leaves @teofilex11 who picked United. Now I watched this game and United were very very lucky. They did not get over the line until the 91st minute but they got the result and @teofilex11 grabs the top prize.
Prizes
So we begin by rewarding the losers. The 4 runners up each get 5 HBI each.
The winner gets 30 HBI. Also @nathan007 was kind enough to sponsor Last Man Standing 2500 ecency points last summer as well so is on the way over to you after I publish this post. I will top this up also to 3500 Ecency points. Thanks a million to @nathan007 for sponsoring a prize.
Below is the proof of the HBI spent. I like giving out the HBI because it makes people stay around if they are getting a few more pennies in their posts rather than giving liquid Hive. Might ask for opinions like this for the next Last Man Standing after xmas.
