Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. FC Barcelona's victory against Osasuna had some key moments which I will share in this post. Now some Barcelona fans have the habit of turning on the players once they start performing badly on the pitch. Frenkie De Jong was the first to experience this backlash from Barcelona fans when he was having a bad game and look out how things later turned out as the Dutchman has gotten his form, plus made his way back to the starting lineup under Hansi Flick this season.
Frenkie De Jong was one of the players that impacted that win against Osasuna on Thursday night. The Dutchman was perfect on the pitch and I am glad he was proven his doubts wrong. There was a time when Fermin Lopez was at the receiving end from some Barcelona because he was having poor ends after returning from injury. It was shocking that Fermin was receiving those comments when everyone knew Fermin was an absolute stunner during the Olympics and that fatigue was definitely going to kick in because of the minutes he played during the Olympics for Spain's national team.
Fermin Lopez gave an incredible performance against Osasuna and even provided one assist in the match. Fermin has a great career and I am sure he will succeed at Barcelona without a doubt if he gets more game time which will be easy to get in the upcoming parked matches Barcelona has in the next 20 days to come as Hansi Flick will have to do a lot of rotation to reduce the minutes for the regular starters to avoid injuries in the long for the rest of the season. Another player that I never expected to be on this list will be Gavi.
Gavi is one player I never expected some Barcelona fans to doubt, no matter what because everyone clearly sees how Gavi puts his all into the matches he plays for the club. Gavi's mentality is unmatched, and that young lad puts his whole body on the line for the team. I was surprised when I saw some posts about Gavi being shipped to Alaves soon with the performance he has displayed on the pitch. This is the same Gavi who came back from an ACL injury that took him out early last season, which means he missed playing football on the pitch for a year if I am correct.
It is bound to happen that Gavi will be rusty in a few matches, so I was surprised to see some fans already downplaying Gavi's performance lately on the pitch. Gavi is already getting back to himself as from the match against Osasuna Gavi was incredible to watch on the pitch. Gavi’s ball control and distribution were top-notch, and he did not forget about the way he worked hard to retrieve the ball for the team when Osasuna players had the ball. Hopefully, Gavi will continue to improve and get back to his form soon.
So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
