Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. So today I want to give my take on Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in Europe to this day even with their horrible performances this past year. It's a shame seeing how a top club like Manchester United has fallen so low that it makes an individual wonder if the club is cursed or if more issues are happening behind closed doors. The way the club has crumbled has made me question how it is being managed internally and even with INEOS getting partial ownership for the club, things have not changed in the last two years.
Today's Manchester Derby was clear that United weren't going to win because obviously Manchester City had a kick back to make up for since they had a poor start to the season and Manchester United's performances so far even with their recent win before the International break shows there is still a lot of work needed to be done my Ruben Amorim side if they want to have a chance of finishing in the top four. I mentioned the top four because the reality is United can't win the league this season and I doubt they can pull it off next season.
My curiosity about that club just sparked today, looking at how Hojlund made his official debut for Napoli and scored a goal. This same guy that United fans complained about not being able to finish his chances scored a goal on his debut. The issue that was airing out from Manchester United was that they need a striker and now they got a striker in Benjamin Sesko, but he has failed to show any impact in the team since he joined this summer and if you think I am being harsh then just take a look at Nick Waltermade who scored the only goal for Newcastle United yesterday in his debut.
When Newcastle United completed the transfer agreement with Stuttgart for over 80 million euros, I remember some people complained that he was overpriced, but Sesko is worth over 80 million euros as well, having failed to score or assist in four matches for Manchester United. Then what more does the club need to be back on the right track? How many more managers do they have to change before the team starts giving good results in the league? I feel sad for Manchester United fans because it has been a long nightmare that seems not to be ending anytime soon.
Andre Onana has left the club on loan to a Turkish club, and on his debut, he put off a person and was able to save 8 shots on target out of 23 shots and conceded just one goal in the match. It was a solid performance and this is happening now that he is away from United. It is going to be a rough season for United and I just hope Amorim has the strength to carry this team because man is obviously out of ideals. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
