It's back baby!
The football season is underway up here in Scotland and it is less than a month now for the English Premier League to kick off.
Which in turns means that it is less than a month until the first points drop on our fantasy football teams!

Hive is feeling a bit stale at times for me this year, so a season long football competition is a great reason for making me stay.
Tengo Rangers FC
Season 23/24 ended up being a fluffing disaster.
I started off great guns and was right up there until about week 8 and then fluff me I just lost the plot.
Or is that the dressing room...
Suffice to say, some players have been shown the door.
When does it start?
My birthday is on August 17th and in the good old days when football was played on a Saturday, this would have been my birthday this year.
It kicks off with Man United hosting Fulham on the night of Friday the 16th...
I think Eric ten Haag must be relishing this one. A home game to kick off the season, and one they should be taking three points from.
This afternoon my team Rangers hosted (my arse they did as we are run by incompetent fcukers who have to play at Hampden for at least month as they tried to buy steel on the cheap and it is still in China or someothere commie place, and the stand that was being altered is not done surprise surprise...)
Sorry rant over Rangers lost 2-0 to Man Utd, preseason but I think many Rangers fans are waiting for Clement the manager to walk as the board are not giving him cash as we was promised...
Long story short, I can focus on the EPL or English Premier League, in otherwords I have time for looking at the fantasy football properly!
My team / squad
We still get £100 million for a squad of 15 players...
To ensure I am qualified for leagues etc, I have autopicked my squad.
I am not firming up my squad anytime soon.
There will be transfers and injuries galore before kick off time.
But it is a good basis.
I mean Sterling .... really?
I am a Chelsea fan and of course thanks to Enzo we are in turmoil with that song that was sung and shared on social media.
New rules and prices?
I have not studied rules I just know that ...
Players will no longer be limited to just two free transfers. Instead, it will now be possible to accumulate as many as five free transfers, rewarding those who avoid the temptation to regularly make new additions. Saved transfers will also no longer reset to zero when the Wildcard and Free Hit chips are played.
Also point scoring is different.
A new chip has been added.

So numpty Tengo Rangers manager strikes again!!!
I went to look at the price risers and realised my squad was blank ....
I had not save my squad ...
Rule number for Tengo aka me is double check what you do and save save save, I was guilty last season of not saving when I thought I had completed things....
Because it was blank I hit auto pick again, and see that Sterling had been axed, maybe The Universe was trying to tell me something hehe!
I hear you saying no Haaland ... no Salah ...
Haaland rockets to £15 million
Fluff me, so the big debate now is Haaland worth that amount of money?
And Palmer rockets to £10.5 million ....
Palmer outpointed Haaland, and Watkins at £9 million outpointed Haaland as well!

I do subscribe to various X and YouTube fpl content and shall be devouring what they say!
Infact as I was writing this I was watching a video.
It seems there are more rule changes ... this being able to accumulate five free transfers and not be limited to two is fluffing awesome!

Hehe luck has alot to do with this, injuries to key players etc.
I remember at the Italy World Cup I was at and talking to some American high school teachers who taught football (I refuse to call it soccer) and they were saying it was so popular, but then people stop.
