I'm good witness? Cool 😅
Please allow me to comment on few things, it's my opinion, worth what it's worth but still...
- Changing the name of a witness is not that easy/practical. The blockchain does not allow change of your username, if someone want to change their witness, they need to create a new account and then run a new campaign to get every voters to unvote their old account and vote the new one. Getting witness votes is not easy task, changing witness name might mean loosing a lot of ranks.
- I think any witness above #80 should run a price feed.
- Anyone is allowed to run a witness, if they are low ranking and still want to run one then why not? If you have a look a my weekly witness earnings report, you would see that at rank #80 you get only $8.80 per week at the current HIVE price, the producer rewards barely just pay for the monthly rental of an entry level server. So let them be, the good thing is if there are some attacks and top20 needs to replay, at least those backup witness can help support the network.
