Hey Gamerz 👋
Lots going on with UGZ. The summer for us has been spent bringing clarity to our vision and laying the Ultimate GamerZ foundation. The HIVE blockchain has a lot to offer, so we wanted to make sure our gameplan was in tact before launch.
Some of the team has been fortunate enough to attend a few blockchain events and do more IRL networking recently.
Currently we're building out the community page to serve as a content hub for our streamers! As per our Intro Post, "UGZ is a distributor of game experiences for the gaming industry". So we're looking to integrate HIVE, @threespeak, and @vimm into our gamers workflow.
The first implementation of this will be at the upcoming NFTLV Con in Las Vegas. The event is taking place at The Notoriety if anyone is interested in attending. UGZ will be there! Ultimate GamerZ played a key role in organizing the convention's eSports tournament that will be sponsored by BlvkHvnd gaming, "the world's first dSports gaming community".
These guys already have an Axie Infinity team so there is no reason they shouldn't be on @Splinterlands. If there's a resource that can give a thorough rundown of the specs, developments, and advantages of starting a Splinterlands Guild please point us there in the comments.
We will also be taking advantage of this opportunity to officially launch the Ultimate GamerZ brand and allow a few beta testers for our platform.
NFT LV is an epic Three-Day Conference that is happening in the Fabulous City of Las Vegas. It's all about the NFT Revolution that is happening right now.
We're proud to be partners with Las Vegas’s premier new live performance venue, NOTORIETY, which features 7 individual performance theaters ranging from 60 to 250 seats, two 5,000 sq. ft. performance bars, a 4,500 sq. ft. Members only VIP Lounge and event space. Located in downtown Las Vegas on the strip
Developments
NFTLV Con eSports Tournament 🎮
As stated above, our primary objective is for a successful launch of the brand at NFTLV Con. This would include:
- 30 - 40 beta testers to use our UGZ streaming platform during the gaming tournament
- Ultimate GamerZ merch
- HIVE accounts for all gamers (32 total, 8 teams x 4 players)
- At least 1 Vimm live stream for tournament
*note - We have some leadway with marketing at this event so we're open to discuss some more creative ways to bring HIVE into the fold. Outside of onboarding the eSports teams and players let us know if you have any other ideas.
Community Building 👥
Now that the vision is clear, it's time to build out our community, because what's a community without a vision? @opinizeunltd convinced us there is no better place to lay the foundation for our community than HIVE. With that said, UGZ is looking to:
- Bring awareness to the HIVE UGZ community page by engaging/posting content and launching the front end with an accompanying initiative to give gamers some incentive. Our content will highlight PVP and eSports gaming specifically.
- Engaging with other HIVE gaming communities by sharing relevant content.
- Launch UGZ gamers guild
Platform Launch 🌐
Our streaming platform is ready to test. This will be the first game streaming platform of its kind so we don't expect things to go perfect. "What's so special about our streaming platform?" you may ask. Can't let that hat out of the bag just yet. But the buildout will be a process.
