Yeah, I understand about the chickens dying part but I like to use her at the last position and there are two reasons for that.

  1. If I use her at the front and a nice melee monster at the 2nd position then that melee monster will need to wait to attack till the chicken dies which I think is a loss.
  2. There might be some monsters in the opponent team who will always attack the last position holder in my team so I use the chicken there as a bait as she dies anyway.

I'm not sure if it's a good strategy or not but this is what I think/do.
