First of all, I'd like to congratulate @queercoin; it's the first time I've had difficulty writing about a topic. I believe everyone knows what matriarchy is, but highlighting benefits and openly discussing the subject is quite complex. I spent over an hour of my day thinking about how I would conduct the text, as I don't remember any real-life situation that serves as a reference to justify my writing. The light at the end of the tunnel was an anime I watched on Netflix; I hope it aligns with the proposed theme.
Matriarchy is a culture with a system dominated by women; the entire system is governed by female leadership. In homes and small communities, mothers and grandmothers have the final say.
The only reference I have to a matriarchal structure is what I witnessed in the anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero," a kingdom that is seemingly unjust when ruled by the king, becoming just when its true ruler, the queen, returns to power. Based on my experience with the anime, a matriarchy is more diplomatic, just, egalitarian, and less perverse than a patriarchal reality. Female empathy ends up being a major and positive point in this type of system.
To be quite honest, I don't remember matriarchies existing in the past or if they still exist in the present; I would like to experience it, it seems like a positive reality.
What would be necessary to generate a transition from patriarchy to matriarchy? I don't know if it would be possible, as it's very complex. Initially, the entire structure of a society would be altered. Men wouldn't accept such a condition; the process would generate conflicts; imagining women winning a war against men would be another problem, besides being exhausting, the losses would be immeasurable. If, after all this upheaval, the transition occurred, the region of change would be in chaos.

Antes de mais nada, gostaria de parabenizar @queercoin; é a primeira vez que tenho dificuldade em escrever sobre um tema. Acredito que todos saibam o que é matriarcado, mas destacar os benefícios e discutir abertamente o assunto é bastante complexo. Passei mais de uma hora do meu dia pensando em como conduziria o texto, pois não me lembro de nenhuma situação da vida real que sirva de referência para justificar minha escrita. A luz no fim do túnel foi um anime que assisti na Netflix; espero que esteja alinhado com o tema proposto.
Matriarcado é uma cultura com um sistema dominado por mulheres; todo o sistema é governado por lideranças femininas. Em lares e pequenas comunidades, mães e avós têm a palavra final.
A única referência que tenho a uma estrutura matriarcal é o que vi no anime "The Rising of the Shield Hero", um reino aparentemente injusto quando governado pelo rei, tornando-se justo quando sua verdadeira governante, a rainha, retorna ao poder. Baseado na minha experiência com o anime, um matriarcado é mais diplomático, justo, igualitário e menos perverso do que uma realidade patriarcal. A empatia feminina acaba sendo um ponto importante e positivo nesse tipo de sistema.
Para ser sincero, não me lembro de matriarcados terem existido no passado, ou se ainda existem no presente; gostaria de vivenciar um, parece uma realidade positiva.
O que seria necessário para gerar uma transição do patriarcado para o matriarcado? Não sei se seria possível, pois é muito complexo. Inicialmente, toda a estrutura de uma sociedade seria alterada. Os homens não aceitariam tal condição; o processo geraria conflitos; imaginar mulheres vencendo uma guerra contra os homens seria outro problema, além de exaustivo, as perdas seriam imensuráveis. Se, depois de toda essa turbulência, a transição ocorresse, a região afetada estaria em caos.

Exactly, because matriarchy focuses more on collaboration and care, and not on domination, control of power, or oppression.
A good example is ancient Egypt. While it wasn't entirely matriarchal, women could hold positions of power, like Cleopatra VII, their last pharaoh and queen. And nowadays we have the Mosuo in China, the Minangkabau in Indonesia, the Khasi in India, the Akan in Ghana, the Bribri in Costa Rica, and the Iroquois and Hopi in North America
