¡Saludos a todos! Les queremos hacer una invitación a nuestra primera iniciativa como comunidad, aprovechando la fecha que se celebra hoy y enfocándonos en las tradiciones populares de muchos países hispanos, y del resto del mundo. Por supuesto nos referimos a Halloween o popularmente conocida como la “Noche de Brujas”. También hacemos énfasis en otra fecha que está muy ligada a ésta, y que se celebra en muchos países durante estos 3 días, del 31 de octubre al 2 de noviembre, y se trata del Día de los Muertos.
Greetings to all! We would like to invite you to our first initiative as a community, taking advantage of the date that is celebrated today and focusing on the popular traditions of many Hispanic countries, and the rest of the world. Of course we are referring to Halloween or popularly known as "Halloween". We also emphasize another date that is closely linked to this one, and that is celebrated in many countries during these 3 days, from October 31 to November 2, and that is the Day of the Dead.
La fiesta de Halloween se celebra de diferentes formas en varias naciones del mundo, pero la parte más resaltante de estas fiestas son las decoraciones, los disfraces, los postres y comidas tradicionales, y las actividades que se realizan en la noche cuando salimos disfrazados a pedir dulces de puerta en puerta.
Pero más allá de esta divertida tradición, están las brujas malas del cuento, las que espantan, los espíritus que salen a caminar entre los vivos por las calles de la ciudad, y que nos dan uno que otro susto, como rezan por ahí muchas historias de la vida real.
Halloween is celebrated in different ways in various nations around the world, but the most prominent part of these festivities are the decorations, costumes, traditional desserts and foods, and the activities that take place at night when we go out in costume door-to-door trick-or-treating.
But beyond this fun tradition, there are the bad witches of the story, the ones that scare, the spirits that come out to walk among the living through the streets of the city, and give us a scare or two, as many real life stories go around.
Éstas son las historias que queremos conocer. Relatos verdaderos, anécdotas de la vida real que les hayan pasado a alguno de ustedes o a alguien conocido, historias que no se hayan atrevido a contar por temor a que nadie les crea, pero que sí quieran compartir con nosotros para ponernos los pelitos parados del susto.
¿Se animan? Bien, entonces a continuación les damos las pautas, las reglas para participar y los premios para los primeros tres lugares.
These are the stories we want to know. True stories, real life anecdotes that have happened to one of you or someone you know, stories that you have not dared to tell for fear that no one will believe you, but that you would like to share with us to make our hair stand on end.
