Art work process. Working with watercolor pencils
I draw using the karakuling technique.
Materials: watercolor paper, watercolor pencils.
I love watercolor pencils because they help to draw bright art.
I will send you the finished result soon.
I’m really enjoying watching this come together, I love your art style!
…I tried looking up karakuling, but I couldn’t find anything. Does this refer to like multiple overlapping outlines, or outlines that build other outlines by way of negative space?
I’m super curious - but neither Google, nor my buddy ChatGPT were able to help me on this one!
Ok this is awesome! Yea this is familiar, I did a lot of this after leaving university to “do it my own way” - still one of my favorite styles! I like to use abstract cursive to do my base part. You’re really good at this!
