Having reached the next sanatorium or boarding house, we paused under a canopy, as we were covered with a small thunderstorm rain that suddenly came from behind the forest. We stayed under it for about fifteen minutes, the cloud went over the lake. The sky became clear again, as if there was no rain or thunderstorm. Having hoisted our backpacks on our shoulders, we continued on our way again. Among the girls, I already noticed dissatisfaction with the fact that we somehow took a long walk to the parking lot. Some of them already wanted to eat. I suggested that they make one more stop then, we will have a snack with what we have with us, we will rest and then we will continue our journey. All agreed. Being in the fresh air all day, and even in such a beautiful place, the appetite "wakes up" is serious. We had a snack, sat for a while and I told them that there was very little left to go to the place: “Do you see that turn over there?”. And we walked again...
Дойдя до следующего санатория или пансионата, мы приостановились под навесом, так как нас накрыл небольшой грозовой дождик, неожиданно налетевший из-за леса. Пробыли мы под ним минут пятнадцать, туча ушла за озеро. Небо снова стало чистым, словно и не было никакого дождя и грозы. Водрузив рюкзаки на плечи, мы снова продолжили свой путь. Среди девчонок я заметил уже недовольство тем, что мы как-то долго идем к месту стоянки. Кто-то из них уже и кушать захотел. Я предложил им сделать тогда еще одну остановку, перекусим тем, что у нас есть с собой, отдохнем и уж тогда продолжим свой путь. Все согласились. Находясь на свежем воздухе целый день, да еще в таком прекрасном месте – аппетит «просыпается» нешуточный. Перекусили, немного посидели и я им сказал, что до места идти уже осталось совсем немного: «Видите вон тот поворот?». И мы снова зашагали...
My brief information about Lake Turgoyak.
There is one wonderful place here on Lake Turgoyak, it is called the island of Vera. Well, apparently in the past there was an island here, but now it is a peninsula, which you can freely get to by going around the lake along the edge of the coast. As they say, the island owes its name to a girl named Vera who settled on it, who helps people and founded a monastic skete. And now they have determined that where she lived, it is nothing more than a dolmen. Yes, located from such ancient times that, as it turned out, Stonehenge is younger and much younger! That's it. I was there myself, I saw everything, a lot of interesting things, but I'll tell you about this further.
Моя краткая справка про озеро Тургояк.
Есть здесь на озере Тургояк одно замечательное место, называется оно остров Веры. Ну, это видимо в прошлом был здесь остров, а ныне это полуостров, на который можно свободно попасть, обойдя вокруг озера по кромке берега. Своим названием, как говорят, остров обязан поселившейся на нем девушке по имени Вера, помогающей людям и основавшей монашеский скит. А ныне определили – там, где она жила, это есть не что иное, как дольмен. Да находящийся с таких древних времен, что как оказалось Стоунхендж младше и намного! Вот такие дела. Сам там был, все видел, много чего интересного, но об этом далее расскажу.

The girls whimpered, and the guys and I began to arrange our camp.
Какая была радость, когда мы, наконец-то, пришли на место. Стационарная стоянка включала в себя много палаток и четырехместных и восьмиместных. Но омрачился весь этот «праздник» для нашей группы тем, что нужно было ставить палатки, хотя их и выдавали тут же. Девчонки захныкали, а я с парнями стал устраивать наш лагерь.
