Hello everyone

After indulging in a delightful feast of dim sum that left our taste buds satisfied, we decided to embark on a new adventure. Our destination was Cape Panwa, a picturesque enclave offering breathtaking views and a unique water park museum that promised to be both entertaining and educational.

As we made our way to Laem Panwa, nestled in the charming Wichit Subdistrict, the anticipation grew with each passing mile. The journey from Mueang Phuket District, approximately 15 kilometers away from the bustling city, was surprisingly smooth and convenient. Unlike the congested roads leading to other beaches in Phuket, the route to Cape Panwa was a pleasant drive along wide, open roads, free from the usual traffic woes.

Arriving at Laem Panwa, we were greeted by the beauty of the coastal landscape and the inviting allure of the water park museum. The panoramic views stretched as far as the eye could see, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We eagerly explored the museum, marveling at its exhibits that brought the maritime history and culture of the region to life.

Before we checked out the water park museum at Cape Panwa, we stumbled upon this cool parking spot surrounded by big trees right by the sea. The view was stunning, and if you looked beyond the trees, you'd see these old fishing boats that are now all spruced up as tour boats neatly lined up along the beach.

The afternoon sun was scorching, but luckily, these big trees threw some serious shade, making this spot a chill hangout for everyone visiting Cape Panwa. People like us took a break from the heat, enjoying the sea view, the breeze, and the cool shade provided by these trees.

As we walked around, it was pretty cool to see how the area transformed from simple fishing boats to these colorful tour boats. The sound of waves hitting the shore added to the laid-back vibe. In the midst of all the touristy stuff in Cape Panwa, this spot felt like a little escape, a nod to the place's roots.

In this scorching weather, nothing beats the heat like a good ol' ice cream. I spotted a cart conveniently parked near some big trees and decided to treat myself. The setup was interesting - there were three small carts in the area. The first one was all about ice cream, the second cart focused on drinks, and the third one offered fresh fruit.

I approached the ice cream cart, eager to get a refreshing scoop. While waiting for my order, I struck up a conversation with the seller. I asked him about how business was going, curious if there were a lot of tourists around. He shook his head and shared that, unfortunately, there weren't many tourists, and sales were struggling. Taking a look around, it became apparent that he wasn't exaggerating. The place wasn't buzzing with activity like the bustling beaches on the west side of Phuket, which were always jam-packed with tourists.

As I enjoyed my ice cream, I couldn't help but feel a bit for the seller. The shade from the big trees provided a nice escape from the heat, but it seemed like the lack of visitors was affecting the local businesses. Despite the less-than-ideal situation, the ice cream was a sweet escape, and I hoped that things would pick up for the sellers as more people discovered the hidden gem that Cape Panwa had to offer.

Not too far from where I stood enjoying my ice cream was a harbor base, a reminder of the maritime activity that thrived in the vicinity. Although I hadn't explored much of the beach at Cape Panwa, I learned there was a small, hidden beach nearby. Intrigued by the prospect of discovering more of the area, my companions and I decided to take a leisurely stroll along this less-explored coastline.

As we meandered towards the beach, we found ourselves enveloped in the welcoming shade of trees that lined the coastal path. The contrast between the vibrant sunlight filtering through the leaves and the cool shadows beneath created a mesmerizing play of light and shade. The scenery was nothing short of beautiful, offering a serene escape from the more crowded areas of Cape Panwa.

The small beach we encountered was a hidden gem, tucked away from the more frequented spots. The gentle lapping of the waves and the soft crunch of sand beneath our feet accompanied our leisurely walk. Secluded and tranquil, this area was a stark departure from the bustling tourist scenes we had encountered earlier.

Taking our time, we soaked in the coastal beauty, appreciating the untouched allure of this hidden beach. The landscape unfolded in a series of picturesque vignettes – from the quaint harbor base in the distance to the soft sands meeting the calm sea. It was a reminder that even in well-traveled destinations like Cape Panwa, there were still pockets of undiscovered charm waiting to be explored.
