Great Afternoon at Blang Padang Field

Hello Hivers!

Happy to see you again, hivers friends. I am return to work to make posts in our @cch community. Today, I took the time to go around the city of Banda Aceh to look for ideas to put into writing. Finding a spot to take pictures is quite a drain on energy. Maybe because I'm not very used to this kind of activity. I've tried it before, but not follow by consistency. Probably it due to this city is too small to explore. However, I don't intend to give up. Now, I determine to be much better to maximize what I'd started previously.

Thanks God, my desire to try to produce at least one post every day sparks enthusiasm to move so that blood flow to the brain is smooth and can spark work ideas. After meeting some friends around the city of Banda Aceh, in the coffee shop of course, on my way back to Punge I took the route through the Blang Padang field. I've been wanting to make a post about it for a long time. The opportunity to make it real finally happen after all.

Lapangan Blang Padang

I arrived at Blang Padang Field at approximately five in the afternoon. Blang Padang Square is one of the main squares in Banda Aceh. The positive atmosphere of various sports activities that people do immediately enveloped me. There were a lot of people running around this field. The field, which has an area of almost 6 hectares, is served with a stretch of green grass. It is also equipped with sports facilities such as a jogging track that surrounds the field.

If you are in Gemilang City, it will not be complete if you don't visit the field located in Kampung Baru, District, Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh City. On a green open field not far from downtown Banda Aceh. From the zero point of downtown Banda Aceh, you can walk about 30 meters. Around the Blang Padang field there are also several tourist destinations that are quite easy to reach just on foot. Like tourist destinations, the Tsunami Museum, Taman Sari or Bustanulsalatin Park, this park can be reached on foot as far as 10 meters from the Blang Padang field.

The atmosphere that was displayed before my eyes made me feel comfortable and calm. I was transfixed watching young children playing soccer. My favorite sport since I was little. In the past, at their age I played it almost every day. I still remember how happy I was at that time. Behind the goal of one of the teams, there were several small children also playing the ball with fun. A moment later I was transported to a past that is no less beautiful than them. A very Lovely moment indeed.

I take a comfortable sitting position to enjoy the various activities carried out by those who have a level of awareness of the importance of health. I smiled wryly realizing how long I hadn't done this activity. My body feels heavy because of excessive weight and has never been trained to do sports activities. Realizing this, I got up from my seat to walk along the jogging track which was constantly filled with people running. This momentum gave me the opportunity to capture some of these following monumental pictures full of the history of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

In the Blang Padang field, there is also a replica of the Dakota RI-001 "SEULAWAH" aircraft. Dakota RI-001 Seulawah is a transport aircraft which is the first aircraft belonging to the Republic of Indonesia. The Dakota type aircraft with the wing number RI-001, named Seulawah, was purchased from donations from the people of Aceh. The Dakota RI-001 Seulawah aircraft was the forerunner to the establishment of the first commercial airline, Indonesian Airways. This aircraft was of great service in the initial struggle for the formation of the Indonesian state.

In the corner of the Blang Padang field, next to the RI-OO1 aircraft monument, there is a tsunami memorial, this monument was erected in 2008. But unfortunately I forgot to immortalize the monumental monument. Right beside the jogging track, we can find a building that resembles a boat. The building is called "the monument ACEH THANKS TO THE WORLD". Each monument that resembles a boat bears the names of the donor countries for the Aceh tsunami disaster.

The wind gusts in this field area are quite strong, very suitable for those of you who want to feel a relaxing breeze while enjoying the view of green grass, this place is highly recommended for relaxing, playing or exercising. Well, I need to practically doing it by myself. Well, I have to practically do it myself. Hopefully in the future I can be motivated by my post to return to active exercise in order to maintain balance. Getting older with excess weight has begun to feel very torturous. So vent me out . Alright my good hivers friends. Let's be enthusiastic to be active in cultivating the body, mind, and soul to avoid everything that is bad for you. Our healthy lifestyle will help us in the aspects of health and social life. Before I end up this post, I want to say hello to "mabro mamen" @my451r, @isnorman, and @fooart.
