A praying mantis on a tree.
We were cutting down trees at the dacha and I came across this cute praying mantis.
It's a green insect that grows large.
Sometimes it's beneficial; it eats other insects that harm trees, flowers, and other plants. For example, I had moths in my kitchen, and I couldn't get rid of them. No moth-repellent scents I bought at the store worked. Then one time a praying mantis got into the kitchen, and it ate the moths. I'm grateful! When the moths were gone, the mantis went off somewhere.
To be honest, I'm afraid of praying mantises. Although they don't harm people. But it's so unpleasant when you're cleaning up something in the garden and a praying mantis jumps under your shirt. I run around the garden screaming. It looks funny. 🤭
That's great, the cover image looks like the mantis is saying: 'Hello, how are you, any problems?' 😁. Excellent images @elenasteem, very beautiful 🤗. A few days ago, @miosha also published some beautiful ones, these animals are very exotic.
Greetings and thank you for sharing in the hive. Regards 😊🤗🙏🏻
