We are living during the hard times. Prices of goods are very expensive, and had almost doubled from its price before Covid19 pandemic. Budgeting is very difficult especially when you have only enough money for basic needs. At times, you may even fall short of what you wanted to buy.
My wife goes to the market yet I was surprised how she manages to buy a lot when the money is not that huge. Actually, she buys foods what we can only consume.
Saving money is a must at this moment. When you can do homesteading to be self-sufficient, why not? Whatever you can harvest can even be sold or, if you have enough, give to the needy. This crisis won't end soon but we hope it will.

Up here we have slugs, do you have them where you are at? They eat everything.....
