At present, the most powerful person in Bangladesh, His Excellency the President, was born in Kishoreganj District and Mithamin Upazila, which is surrounded only by water and water.
A lot of things happen in this world with the passage of time or change of era. For example, there was a saying among the people of Haor that once in the rainy season there is a boat and in the dry season you get it.
But now the days have changed. The means of communication in these upazilas are very good. Nowadays the communication system is very good. You can travel from wherever you want. Everything, because the roads have been greatly improved. When the water dries up, those roads are washed away, so it is now very easy to travel from anywhere.
Haor travel has become very popular this monsoon. People come to Kishoreganj haor area from far and wide to see the fair of sea level water. Many people visit Nikli Beribadh, Balikhola and Ashtagram in Karimganj during the monsoon season.
However, now not only in the rainy season, but also in the three upazilas of Ashtagram-Mithamin-Itna, a 48 km high paved road (Allweather Road) has been introduced to connect the entire haor area to see different forms of winter or dry season haor. Recently, a ferry has been launched to connect Itna and Mithamin upazilas with Kishoreganj district headquarters. During the dry season (October-April), you can take a car from Kishoreganj to areas like Itna and Mithamin. The Ashtagram-Mithamin-Itna road can be used all year round. As the water swells around in the rainy season, when the water recedes, the place becomes a green state of paddy or when the paddy ripens, it turns into a golden state. Once you see the beauty of this different form, make a plan to take a trip to Kishoreganj Haor Road in winter or dry season.
