This waterfall is located in Venezuela, north of Dinira National Park in Lara State, at the end of the Andes Mountains. This waterfall has an approximate height of about 90 meters high and is located about 1,672 meters above sea level. This region enjoys a very pleasant climate for those who like the cold, its temperatures range between 16°C and 20°C; which is ideal to enjoy beautiful sunsets and spend the night camping and enjoying the stars.
Nobody gets up early as the idea is to rest but that does not take away from the beauty of the sunrise, which is well accompanied by the sound of the waterfall and the singing of countless birds overflowing with joy for this new day. This helps to remind us how ungrateful we are with each new day we have to live.

Esta cascada está ubicada en Venezuela, al norte del parque nacional Dinira del Estado Lara, al final de la cordillera de los Andes. El camino es largo, solo y silencios, es un lugar muy visitado por grandes grupos de personas que desean pasar algunos días de descanso y relajarse en contacto con la naturaleza.
El tan extraño y peculiar color tinto de las aguas de este rio fue lo que origino el nombre de la cascada del vino, el hecho que este habitad posea una variedad de plantas especificas las cuales tienen ciertas características en su pigmentación y al desprenderlos en estas aguas les da este color tan característico. Este pigmento llamado antocianina es propio de las plantas que poseen colores rojizos, morados y azules.
Esta región goza de un clima bastante agradable para los que les gusta el frio, sus temperaturas oscilan entre los 16°C y 20°C; lo cual se torna ideal para disfrutar de hermosos atardeceres y pasar la noche acampando y disfrutando de las estrellas.
Nadie se levanta temprano ya que la idea es descansar pero eso no le quita belleza al amanecer, que está bien acompañado del sonido de la cascada y del cantar de innumerables aves desbordadas de alegría por este nuevo día. Esto ayuda a recordar lo poco agradecidos que somos con cada nuevo día que tenemos para vivir.
Aun cuando ha comenzado un día bastante hermoso y soleado el frio no desaparece por lo que bien abrigados nos disponemos a dar un paseo por la zona. Dependiendo de la fuerza de la corriente el agua genera una especie de neblina que envuelve todo este espacio; también pudimos encontrar varios riachuelos y posas con una belleza indescriptible y aunque el agua está muy fría algunas personas disfrutan de un buen baño helado.
Definitivamente este es un lugar que hay que disfrutar bien sea explorando, admirando la caída de agua o disfrutando de tantos sonidos incomparables que se pueden apreciar en esta época ya que cuando comienzan las lluvias los torrenciales aguaceros pueden durar días, aunque en cierto modo también tiene su belleza.
