Walang sangit is a pest that often attacks rice plants. Usually walang Sangit will suck the rice juice. If this has happened, it is possible that rice plants will lose nutrients which are very important for rice plant nutrients. In the end, the rice becomes weak and even dies.
Before knowing how to effectively eradicate stink bugs, here are some important facts you need to know about Walang Sangit.
Important Facts of Walang Sangit
Walang sangit is grayish brown and its body is about 2cm long and has a trunk that functions to suck the liquid from rice plants. If the stink bugs suck the liquid from the rice fruit, the rice will experience a nutrient deficiency which causes the rice to become weak. In addition to sucking the liquid from the rice fruit, the stink bug also often sucks the liquid on the flower stalk. Walang sangit has a self-defense system, namely by producing a strong odor, so this animal is named "SANGIT" because of its stinging smell. Walang stinks are attracted by foul odors or the smell of carcasses such as crab carcasses, animal dung and so on.
Easy and Correct Way to Exterminate Walang Sangit
Liquid Soap
This one method is very easy and effective to get rid of bed bugs. You only need to prepare warm soapy water like dish soap. Then, put it in a spray bottle. Then you just need to spray it on the walang sangit.Mixture of Soursop Leaf Extract and Tobacco
Another natural way is to make soursop and tobacco extract liquid. First, you only need to grind the soursop and tobacco leaves. Then soak with water for 1 day. Squeeze and filter the soaking water then dissolve it and spray it on the rice plants to eradicate walang sangit
