Ayutthaya is an ancient city in Thailand that was at one time the capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, which existed from 1351 to 1767. The city is known for its impressive religious and architectural structures, and now the ruins of Ayutthaya are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination. It's about an hour and a half by car from Bangkok, or you can take the train and boat.
Recently, I had a business trip to Ayutthaya and after finishing work, I met up with with my friends who have been working and living in Ayutthaya. My friends asked me what kind of food I liked, and of course, I said Thai food. They suggested many delicious restaurants, and I finally chose Tha Nam View Restaurant.
Tha Nam View Restaurant is a famous restaurant in Ayutthaya located near the Chaopraya River and opposite the restaurant, you can see an amazing view of the Phuthaisawan Temple Pagoda. I read the reviews of this restaurant, and most people said the food is very good, and the atmosphere is great too.
We ordered 4 dishes and a tower of beer. The dishes we ordered were:
Crab dipping sauce with fresh vegetables
Crab fried rice
Spicy hot fish soup
Deep-fried snapper with sauce
We also ordered a tower of beer for 3 people and finished our meal off with some coconut ice cream with topping.
The view from the restaurant both during the day and night is beautiful, it's no wonder the tables near the river are always booked. I highly recommend sitting in that area if you can. Additionally, you can enjoy easy listening music while you're having your meal.
I was very happy with the dinner here, and I think I will come back again.
