Corpse flower

in CCH3 years ago

Dear friends, how are you, I hope you are healthy with your fun activities.

This time I made some pictures about the corpse flower or known as Rafflesia arnoldii. This flower was first discovered by Dr. Joseph Arnold and Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles in 1818 in the tropical forest of Sumatra.

Well around the world, it is estimated that there are 33 species of Rafflesia flowers. 14 of these species grow in Indonesia, while 11 other species grow on the island of Sumatra.

This flower is rarely found in general, the flower that spreads an unpleasant aroma or smells like the smell of a carcass really amazes us who sees it, the shapes and colors vary.

Usually when this flower grows around residential areas, the surrounding community becomes excited, usually residents just clean the area around the flower and even fence it off to avoid disturbance or damage to the flower.

Well... for photography hobbyists, this opportunity to take pictures of corpse flowers is very cool, the beauty of the shape and color is clearly recorded, surely you will often find this corpse flower too.

Alright, I'm not going to tell you much here anymore, because the pictures that I present are enough to tell the story for all of us, I hope you like it. Thank you.
