No one can say when and how the course of life changes. Sometimes we take some decisions suddenly. Which happens a lot in my life. Most of my work happens through sudden events. I don't get a chance to plan much. I was thinking about going home for the last month, but since there is no holiday in the office and I have to go to Ghazipur every week, I couldn't go. The main purpose of going home was to see my mother's doctor. My mother has been very sick since last month. After being brought to see a doctor from Rajshahi last year, by the grace of Allah Ta'ala, she was much better. But again, problems arose, it is difficult to walk, my body becomes restless at the slightest, blood pressure is high, body swelling and other problems have arisen. I always take her to see a doctor. This month, with no time, and financial crisis, I was not going to the doctor.

I was trying to find an opportunity but it was not happening. Meanwhile, my elder brother's daughter is coming to visit me in Dhaka again. After work, she needs to be given time again. Life is going on in all directions. Meanwhile, the two days off I get every week, I have to go to Ghazipur to teach students. As a result, my mother was no longer being taken to see the doctor. Yesterday, the office decided that due to some problems, I would not have to go to Ghazipur to teach this week. Then I thought, let's use this opportunity. I called my cousin from the office and told him to buy a bus ticket at night and go home. So that I could go to Rajshahi on Saturday and take my mother to the doctor. I gave the serial number online to see the doctor at Rajshahi Popular Diagnostic Center. I made the decision in a hurry, because I will be able to find time again when classes start at my university next month, Nana. After finishing work at 5 pm, I went home after 6 pm.

Bus ticket

When I came home, I freshened up and offered Maghrib prayers. Then I took a little rest and worked on the post until Isha. Then I offered Isha prayers, ate and got ready. The bus was at 10:30 pm. I am also taking my niece home with me, so I will not have time to drop her off at home later. The decision to go home was made unplanned. I was waiting for an auto outside the house. The road from our house to the main road is flooded with rainwater, which is why most of the autos do not want to go, and even if they do, they ask for a high fare. But since I have to go, I started waiting. Then I took an auto and went to the bus counter. My brother had already booked the ticket, so I just went and bought the ticket by paying the money.

I was waiting for the bus.

Although our bus was supposed to arrive at 10:30, the bus arrived at 11:00. We boarded the bus and sat down in our seats. I like traveling at night because there is not much noise and the car is not very crowded. As soon as I got on the bus, I told my daughter to go to sleep. I was on the phone for a while. My problem is that the sound does not want to make me sleepy. That is why it is normal not to sleep on the bus. In an hour and a half we reached Paturia ferry pier. Music was playing softly in the car. I couldn't tell how time was passing. Now we had to cross the river by ferry. It takes about 40-50 minutes to cross the ferry at night. After stopping the car on the ferry, we got down from the car. Then he took my daughter to the washroom. Then we went to one side of the ferry and stood there enjoying the beautiful view of the river.

While the ferry was running at night, the water made a different sound which was quite pleasant to hear. Then the girl said, "Dad, I want to eat jhalmuri." I bought her jhalmuri for 20 taka. It was almost 2 am. There were various types of food available on the ferry, boiled eggs, jhalmuri, all types of hostel food, fruits. On the ground floor, I saw a person who was sitting and selling fruits. We got off the ferry, then got back on the bus, and our bus continued towards its destination.

Ferry crossing moment

After crossing the ferry, it took us about an hour and a half to reach Kumarkhali. At 3 pm, I went to Kumarkhali bus stand and got down. Then I waited for my father. I had called my father in advance and asked him to bring a van and take us from Kumarkhali. After a few minutes, my father came. Then we went home. Actually, due to the situation in the country, we should not walk alone at night, so I asked my father to come.

After reaching home, I slept in the dormitory. Because the next morning I have to go to Rajshahi again to see a doctor. I came home unplanned, to see my mother. Everyone pray for my mother, so that she recovers quickly. Everyone will be fine, stay healthy. I will see you again with a new post.
