It was a great day because I met relatives whom I haven't seen in the past. We were out in deaf teaching in the city of San Carlos, and one of my friends who lives there, and involved in sign language activities served as a guide in different places. I already had an idea that she's a relative because her mom and my mom has the same maiden name.
It's actually my first time to meet her immediate relatives, and upon talking to the elderlies, it was confirmed that we're relatives. My grandfather and their grandfather are actually first cousins! They're happy to know as much as I am! They even expressed wanting a family reunion. That way we will get to know each other.
I haven't had the best relatives paternally, and I know my relatives maternally are kinder ones. I'm happy that I'll get to know more of them. I can sense they're kind and family oriented ones too.
