Letzten Dienstag war ich in Bad Wildbad. Es war schon spät und Glatteis war vorhergesagt. Deshalb beschloss ich, die Nacht in der Nähe in meinem Van zu verbringen. Ich fuhr in Bad Wildbad los in Richtung Autobahn und kam an Forbach vorbei. Forbach ist eine Gemeinde im Nordschwarzwald im mittleren Murgtal auf einer Höhe von 300 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Der höchste Punkt ist der Hohe Ochsenkopf mit ca. 1054 m über dem Meeresspiegel.
Last Tuesday I was visiting Bad Wildbad. It was getting late and black ice was predicted. Therefore, I decided to spend the night nearby in my van. I drove off in Bad Wildbad towards the highway and passed Forbach. Forbach is a community in the northern Black Forest in the middle Murgtal at an altitude of 300 m above sea level. The highest point is the mountain Hohe Ochsenkopf with about 1054 m above sea level.
Forbach wurde 1360 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Die überdachte Holzbrücke (im oberen Bild) über die Murg wurde 1778 erbaut und ist das Wahrzeichen von Forbach.
Forbach was first mentioned in a document in 1360. The covered wooden bridge (in the upper picture) over the Murg was built in 1778 and is the landmark of Forbach.
Forbach gehört zum Landkreis Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg und zum nördlichen Teil des Nationalparks Schwarzwald. Durch Forbach führt der Schwarzwald-Fernwanderweg Westweg, ein Teil des Europäischen Fernwanderwegs E1 (Nordkap-Sizilien).
Forbach belongs to the district of Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg and to the northern part of the Black Forest National Park. The Black Forest long-distance hiking trail Westweg, a part of the European long-distance hiking trail E1 (North Cape-Sicily) passes through Forbach.
Der Wohnmobilstellplatz ...
... ist ein gebührenpflichtiger Stellplatz für 7 Wohnmobile am Ortsrand von Forbach-Gausbach, der ganzjährig geöffnet ist. Der Platz ist geschottert und teilweise eben. Frischwasser, Strom, Grauwasserentsorgung und die Entsorgung der Chemietoilette sind in der Stellplatzgebühr von 15 Euro/2 Erwachsene enthalten. In der Gebühr sind auch die Kurtaxe und eine Konuskarte enthalten. Mit dieser Konuskarte können Sie Bahn und Bus im gesamten Schwarzwald kostenlos nutzen. Es gibt Brötchenservice. 500 m vom Stellplatz entfernt befindet sich das Schwimmbad Montana. Der Platz ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren.
The RV park ...
... is a paid parking lot for 7 motorhomes on the outskirts of Forbach-Gausbach, which is open all year round. The site is gravelled and partly level. Fresh water, electricity, grey water disposal and disposal of the chemical toilet are included in the pitch fee of 15 euros/2 adults. The fee also includes the visitor's tax and a Konus card. With this Konuskarte you can use train and bus in the whole Black Forest for free. There is bread service.
500 m from the campsite is the Montana swimming center. The site is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours.

Villages in Germany and villages in Turkey are really very different from each other. That's why I always wondered about the villages and countryside there.
I've seen a few photos on the internet of the fruit and vegetables sold in some German villages where no one expects them. Those who bought those fruits and vegetables were going to spend the money in a suitable place. !PIZZA !LUV
