Exploring a Chili Nursery, Revealing the Early Process of the Spicy Plant

in CCH6 days ago

Hello Hivers...

In this post, I share my experience when visiting a chili seedling nursery located not far from where I live, precisely in Lameu Village, Sakti District, Pidie Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. Visiting a chili seedling nursery provides interesting insights into how the spicy plants we consume every day grow from the beginning. Chili seedling is a very important first step in chili cultivation, which requires special attention so that the seeds produced are of good quality and ready to be planted in the field.

According to the owner of the nursery, in this place the process begins with selecting superior chili seeds, which are then sown in a planting medium rich in nutrients. Chili seeds are generally planted in trays or small polybags to make them easier to care for. Farmers or nursery managers will ensure that the seeds get enough water, optimal sunlight, and protection from pests and diseases. During the nursery process, attention to soil moisture, air temperature, and proper watering techniques are crucial so that chili seeds grow healthily.

After the chili seedlings reach the ideal size, usually after 4 to 6 weeks, the seedlings are ready to be transplanted to a larger planting area. For farmers, choosing quality chili seedlings from trusted nurseries is very important to ensure maximum harvest results.

Through a visit to a chili nursery, we not only learn about the plant growth process, but also understand how important the role of nurseries is in ensuring the success of healthy and productive chili cultivation. That's all my posts on this occasion, I hope you like it.
