It's more the human element I feel is the problem.

I believe in the good of people. However when the scene is set wrong, people may not act as good as they normally would in the case the scene is set right. For instance, when all of us would have a greater feel of being part of a 'team', feeling and being more inclusive, I think less actions are taken that will harm the common goal. But we don't seem to have a common goal, therefore this needs to be created first. And when we defined that common goal, we shall drive the all-inclusive side of things for all participating individuals. The whole idea of maximising revenues on short term should be trannsformed into something else, and for the longer term.
