Here you can see the young mantis cleaning its feet ... to keep them in good condition for climbing, for brushing their eyes and to always be functional as sensory organs. This cleaning it's a mundane but very important activity ... and on the following shot ...

Fascinating creature. I still haven´t been lucky enough to meet it live in nature though...
They are often well camouflaged. But here they appear in big numbers on the meadows so is easier to encounter them.
