These are amazing! Bees frighten me (I’ve been stung more times than I’d like 🤪) but looking at these makes me appreciate their uniqueness. I didn’t realize how hairy they really are.
Of course I wouldn’t because I wouldn’t get close enough to find out lol!

Ya, you can see the pollen sticking to their hairy bodies ! I find bees fascinating - it's wasps that I'm a little wary of and hornets that I am frightened by - I once had one sitting on my sleeve and didn't notice until someone pointed it out :).

Yea I’m scared of those too. When I was in middle school I knocked on a friend’s door to see if he could come out to play. Suddenly a swarm of wasp came from under his house (they were living right by the doorbell underneath) and attacked me. I was stung multiple times in my back as I fled away on my bike.
The other traumatic time I was stung was when I was only about 8 years old. I was sharing a can of pop with my sister and brother while at the lake. When it was my turn to sip a huge bee stung me on my bottom lip. He was right there inside waiting for his next victim. My lip was huge for days and of course my siblings got a kick out of teasing me about it. 😏
So, now you know why I’m terrified of flying things that sting. 😅
