Hello Hiveans! it's nice to see you guys again on Hive Stock Images Community ^_^
On this beautiful day, I'm gonna show you guys some of my Stock Images. These are "Flags".
Actually these Flags pictures I took about 2 weeks ago, to be exact on August 17, 2021.
Yup, August 17 is officially the anniversary of Indonesia's independence day. On that day, the government obliges the public to put up the Indonesian flag on all roads, houses and other public spaces. ^_^
The colors of the Indonesian flag are red and white, this type of flag is usually flown in offices, homes, schools, hospitals, and other official places. while on the street and in public spaces, "umbul-umbul" are usually flown. namely colorful cloth that resembles a flag. These "umbul-umbul" are what make every place lively and colorful... ^_^
For your information, I took these pictures of the flags and "umbul-umbul" on the village road where I live. Tanjung Bunga Village, West Borneo. Normally, the celebration of Independence Day in this village is very lively, but due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there are no events being held here, but only flying flags and "umbul-umbul" along the way. 😔
