I left Atlanta on Sunday May 25th and flew to San Diego California

I got to the clinic and started with IV'S The red is blood drawn FROM ME, and injected with Ozone somehow, making it bright red, then injected BACK into each one getting this treatment. I think the yellow stuff is some sort of peptide, I joked "Hey, I ain't peed in no bag, where'd y'all get that?"

There were a bunch of us getting ready for the stem cells

The first meal in the clinic, I'm not crazy about Salmon, but I ate some of it.

Then it was on to my room at the Hyatt Place Tijuana

It is quite expensive, originally when I was going to get both the back injections (which I need so very badly)

AND the infusions for my lungs,

Lungs clean of numbers.jpg

the cost was $30K USD.
There is a program called Miracle Hope Foundation that along with some corporate partner, covers 50% of the cost of treatment for Veterans.
These were my veteran classmates (not the female, she is an employee)

Since because of my heart condition, they would not do any spinal injections, I paid $12,550K USD out of my own monies. That hurt, but to have the hope of a better life being able to breathe more freely is worth it I think.
However, to qualify for this financial program I had to agree to return at both the 6 month and 12 month periods for further treatment (also discounted, but I still have to pay a bunch, and provide my own flight there and back) so I have this link, where anyone who is interested or feeling generous can donate to help me fund those trips.

My Miracle Hope Account

I am already planning and beginning financial arrangements for my 6 month followed up.
I am extremely pleased with my results so far with great hopes for greater healing, any and all donations are welcome

Several times during the course of the week, especially after I got my stem cells, we spent an hour in a "Pressure Chamber"

We were told of the benefits of this being under pressure as if we were about 30 ft underwater, with Oxygen enriched atmosphere.

Although physiological and pathological role of hypoxia have been appreciated in mammalians for decades, the cellular biology of hypoxia have been more clarified in the past 20 years.
Discovery of the transcription factor hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1, in the 1990s opened a new window to investigate the mechanisms behind hypoxia.
In different cellular contexts HIF-1 activation show variable results by impacting various aspects of cell biology such as cell cycle, apoptosis, differentiation and etc.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) are unique cells which take important role in tissue regeneration.
They are characterized by self-renewal capacity, multilineage potential, and immunosuppressive property.
Like so many kind of cells, hypoxia induces different responses in MSCs by HIF- 1 activation.
The activation of this molecule changes the growth, multiplication, differentiation and gene expression profile of MSCs in their niche by a complex of signals.
This article briefly discusses the most important effects of hypoxia in growth kinetics, signalling pathways, cytokine secretion profile and expression of chemokine receptors in different conditions.

So it was very beneficial, if uncomfortable, spending an hour in the "Shamber" (no offense, but Mexicans seem to have difficulty pronouncing the "CH" sound, so it came out sounding like Shamber, I teased Erick a lot about this
