Really great post my friend. We often forget what value 1 $ has for people who do not live in western countries. I've been supporting about 30 authors from Venezuela for about 1.5 years by upvoting every single post that they produce on Hive/Steem with about 6K HP. For some it has become the main income source to blog here. For Venezuelan people that earn an average of about 5$ per month, the income that they can make here is quite significant and they are not alone. There are many people living in third world countries for whom the income from this platform can make a real difference to their lives.
Exactly... the most important thing is that it "makes a real difference to their lives"! And with all this plandemic, people will get in a worse situation as time passes by... It will not miraclly stop and got back to normal, and the people from those countries are lucky that someone showed them the way...
It will literally save a lot of lives...
