Thanks for the feedback, @chapelle - I didn't talk about how I aim to get to 120k in HBD in the blog post, but it certainly won't be by buying HBD out of my savings or income, so I evaluate the risk-factor a bit differently I guess.
As for HBD not being a real stable coin, one definition I saw stated that it was an "algorithmic stablecoin," so I can see how that could be more risky, depending on how much HIVE collatoral there is, and how resistant to a price crash HIVE may be... Thank you very much for these interesting links, it seems that we are safe for now with HBD, but it depends a lot on the price of the Hive which is constantly falling.
I really don't know what will make the Hive's share price go up again.
Will user loyalty be enough in the face of the greed of some who withdraw large sums every day?

Maybe they are panicking, or fearful rather than greedy, and who can blame them when the crypto industry is under attack by the SEC and Biden administration in the USA?
Meanwhile, China, via Hong Kong, has pivoted in the opposite direction.
I'd suggest that it creates an excellent buying opportunity for the rest of us to be greedy!
