So NFT is a big time buzzword. I have not see anything blow up so fast for a long time. It’s kinda crazy to see artists, athletes, gamers, creators, and businesses all talking about this market.
So I have been buying NFTs for a long time. I’m willing to sell my splinterlands collection for 6 million. 🤑🤑
I think cards games on the blockchain have a bright future. I hope splinterlands can continue to grow.
Outside of the hive world I have only bought some nba topshot moments. Still looking for some other investment pieces.
One of the coolest NFT sales I’ve seen this year was from DJ Blau. He released his album with 33 NFTs. Each NFT had a unique piece of digital art. You also got one of 33 records for the album and the 6 highest bidders got lifetime back stage passes. He made a cool 11 million in this release. This will change the was artists do releases in the future I think.

Not really yet, but its something I want to explore more in 2021. Even if I don't make money, I want to learn about them and how they work and how they are being used.

I haven't bought any yet but my Brother is a digital artist selling NFTs like crazy!! I plan to do a music release soon as an NFT myself! This IS the Future!! (^_^)

I'd say no but I do play splinterlands and I guess that counts. All of my NFTs are gaming related. I do agree with you that music artists will be the next entry point here.

Why do you ask that about splinterlands? I think they are.
you cannot sell them to somebody ooutside the game...in order to hold a card you need an account ...i cannot sell a card to somebody without an account....so how can it be an NFT if it only exists inside the game?
Im not super familiar with NFTs off of hive. But that was my understanding of most NFTs. You have to store them on some blockchain. Most other NFTs ate on ethereum or wax.
