I have two thoughts on this...one purely selfish and most likely not achievable in my lifetime and the other i think would be a great step forward in the medical field.
Firstly, transporters (yes think star trek) ... who wouldnt want instant travel to discover new places and experiances.
And the more realistic advance, and i only read about this today, 3D printed bones, what a boon that would be to medicine.
