The monasteries' convert rooms you've shared are great even though they look worn out. It's good they were used to lodge tourists or visitors in the past in your country and I think in spite of their aged look they are still in pretty good condition and can still be used for housing purposes. In this case, they are in fairly good condition, despite the fact that the rest of the monastery, to which they belong, is completely and unfortunately ruined, as it was one of the most formidable Benedictine constructions in Spain, dating back more than a thousand years. Which shows something else that has been lost: well-done and artisanal work.
