Pigeons in street photography are considered a bad form, because this is the most common and simplest plot. I paid attention and focused on the pigeons, which were puffed up and swollen like bubbles.

A telephoto lens with a teleconverter helped me in this, so as not to get too close and scare the birds basking in the sun.

It turned out to be a reportage message with a frosty theme.

This is how ordinary and most familiar birds can become not just part of a street story, but set a reportage note.

You can depict frosty weather without resorting to photographing snow, frost, steam from the mouths of passers-by.

I managed to take a few shots and then all the pigeons flew away to the woman who poured out the food for them.

I cursed under my breath and walked on.

But in general, I had enough camera angles to create a selection of images about freezing pigeons.

I want to repeat my feat of last year, where I shot on the most diverse topics.

It was the fastest winter – even the brain breaks down.

It's almost no snow now, which wasn't there at all...
