Festive full moon

This was the first supermoon in 2026, and it was quite early – at the very beginning of January. The one hundred percent moon, of course, was hiding behind clouds, but the slightly waning moon was already beginning to appear.

And to be honest, I had to run and catch this one.

In general, the full moon is only about two hours long, and the rest of the time it waxes and wanes.

Therefore, a full moon is considered to be a lunar disk that looks like an even circle.

If the moon becomes somewhat uneven or not round, then it is no longer a full moon.

For the first time, I decided to capture the moon together with a festive theme.

But it turned out to be a little more complicated than it once was with architectural elements.

That's because Christmas decorations are smaller, which means they need to be removed closer.

For this reason, the focus alternates between the moon and festive elements. Together, alas, nothing.
