Neon ice puddles

There was a thaw here at the end of December, so much so that almost all the snow came off. And I almost lost my mind from such a harbinger of last year's winter. No, well, I understand it's interesting to watch this once every few years and I even liked it, but not two years in a row.

Spoiler alert: It's okay, winter has arrived, and it's even very wintry.

Well, during the melting period, I couldn't find anything better than to capture it in a proven way – using reflections from colored glowing store signs and advertising banners.

It seems to be similar and it seems as if we were taking the same thing, but in fact the states are different.

I used to shoot only puddles of snow melt.

Then I tried to capture reflections in pure ice surfaces without water. And this is completely different.

I don't take autumn leaves into account – this is a separate topic.

But this time I got a mix with puddles and ice surfaces.

Water reflects at one angle, and ice reflects at a completely different angle.

But I just immersed myself in this separate, unique mystical world.

There is very little documentarity here, as there is no reference to place and time.

But there is still a personal document.

After all, if they ask me what December was like in 2025, I can show them these pictures.

In any case, I have found an interesting topic in this world that can be revealed with the help of such reflections.

These are not just puddles, but some details, infrastructure elements, urban objects (see the first pictures).

With puddles, everything is clear and there is nothing new to come up with...Although I was able to do it in the fall.

By the way, you can use this trick for commercial subject shooting.
