It was still the smoldering remnants of a large-scale reporting wave that originated in me as early as three years ago. I am very grateful for the manifestation of natural creative cycles, because thanks to this I learn new things, develop and upgrade my skills.

The reportage wave (in general, the whole genre) is technique, creative and technical tricks, the work of the mind, logic.

If this is related to metaphysical concepts, then it is something from the material cycle...definitely not from the spiritual.

There are very few feelings, mysticism and soul in reportage photography.

Compared to cars, reportage photography is a modern crossover, perhaps even an electric one. Technologically, intellectually, thoughtfully, calculated...but without soul and emotions.

A high-quality and interesting photo essay can evoke feelings and emotions, but superficial, as a fact.

Also, the unusual report is a delight to other reporters. Photography is a trick, a demonstration of the manifestation of intelligence and skill.

Such pictures can be catchy, evoke respect, emotion, and admiration...Such images are often expensive and win elite competitions.

The number one reportage photo in the world! Sports, events, daily life...wars..

Landscapes haven't been needed for a long time. And even more so are the night landscapes of unknown remote corners!

Reportage photography has everything except metaphysics.

Even in the street, you can trace something kind of mystical. There's a little more in the documentary.

It's hard to explain in simple words what I'm talking about. I can feel it all, but I can't translate it into a normal language.

You look at a photo and you immerse yourself in it, you dissolve, you mentally walk, you start to feel smells, sounds...This is metaphysics manifesting, that is, what is beyond reality...something from the depths of my soul, maybe personal...

And the paradox is that such a photograph can be the most ordinary image of the most familiar place. A spring courtyard among the panels, a narrow street in the village, children swimming on the lake, everyday life (yes, this is from the category of a reportage).

The picture can even be taken on a phone. The main thing is the code.

How else can I explain? There is a high-quality picture taken with a super-expensive camera, but it does not cause anything...It's empty.

And there is a picture taken on a smartphone, of poor quality, but it makes you stop and examine it, as if something is ringing inside, responding.

And I'm trying to study this, understand this mechanism, read the set of elements, find the reason, organize and name all the processes.

I conduct surveys, experiments, and comparisons somewhere...something has already been confirmed, but something else remains at the level of sensations and speculation.
Can I write a scientific treatise based on the results?...
