Ananyino is a strange place – there are several swampy lakes among the houses, and houses and cottages stand right on their shores. The lakes have no names, they are all irregular in shape. There are three relatively large lakes, and there are more than a dozen tiny small lakes. All of them are similar in size to fire ponds and are located among dachas.

I just paid attention to the largest lakes.

I once photographed one of them frozen.

The second two I saw for the first time.

Their origin is more like a natural one.

The Ananyino area is a low-lying area surrounded by the Vologda and Sholda rivers.

In fact, these are just swamps...although they are lakes by their characteristics.
