It's been a long time since I've been on a creative reporting wave. I think it's worth recalling that this is a wave where there is a spirit of rivalry, an inflated sense of self-worth, where the mind and ego work, but with all this there is a Self.
Perhaps I have described now the very extreme that can be on this wave, but I am not always in such an extreme.
These are ordinary urban landscapes with street elements.
Why reportage photography? Yes, because dandelions bloom only for a certain period of time.
The report is always timed to some event, and if there is no event, then you can reflect the weather condition.
Even on such a wave, you pay attention only to one thing, that is, I looked only through dandelions. It is always necessary to shoot directly and banally the object itself – the hero of the report.
And also how it looks in everyday life.
Eh...and there was a time when dandelions were not mowed.
After the peak of flowering, you could see the stage of pubescence and then the word dandelion made sense!
Although this year they were not mowed down as actively as it usually happens.
But I have already missed the pubescence stage.
I now have all kinds of urban flowering plants in my collection.
Dandelions have been added to the collection, for some reason I have never taken them off.
Once upon a time I used them as a foreground for architectural photography and urban landscape.
And now I understand a little more how to work with them.
I used to think it all came down to the technique I was working with.
And now I understand that it's not about technique (equipment), but about technique (vision).
Beautiful 🙏
