Uninvited visitor hedgehog

in Photography2 months ago

We had a little uninvited visitor. In fact, we wouldn't have even noticed if the Hedgehog hadn't gotten into the chicken coop. We don't know how he managed to get in there yet, but the hens and rooster got scared and attacked him. My wife somehow managed to get him out of the chicken coop with a shovel, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it.

Since hedgehogs are useful to our gardeners, the wife let him out into the yard right away, not wanting to scare him.
But he made one lap around the yard and came to the entrance of the house, perhaps to thank her for saving him from the angry chickens.

After a short rest, he continued on towards the garden. Although he is a small hedgehog, he can be quite fast and probably doesn't like to be photographed :)

Still moving like a blur despite the shovel rescue, smart little guy.

That little critter is cute. Hope it sticks around for your garden. And the chickens leave it alone.

We hope so. My son liked it, and the chickens will stay indoors.
