The controlled randomness of fireworks displays like this provide so many opportunities to capture light and color. I call it abstract light in action, all the patterns and bursts in a display like this are planned out by professionals, these were all part of an international fireworks competition.
Some of these bursts are perfectly timed to music while also having a certain chaos to them as the sky lights up and colors appear becoming unpredictable in what shapes they will form, what direction will the bursts, streaks and streamers go. The smoke glows with the various colors adding an almost eerie feel in the darkness as I watch things shift with each new burst. The added effect of being able to reflect off a body of wonder enhances the visuals and creates captivating moment after moment.
