What's KYC?

I don't even know how to talk about this stuff or even what the words or questions might be. It's times like this I just want to chuck the whole thing. In them olden days I learned things from someone showing me in person and from being able to speak to them. Now? I'm so out of place here. anyway. I;m going to just keep going until I get it.
