Busy Month (Ramadan) for all the Tailors due to Eid Al-Fitr Rush

in Photography2 years ago

Hello friends, I hope you are fine and having fun with your family and friends.

A very very busy month for the Tailors

Tailoring profession is very hardworking, it took a lot of effort and manpower to get a suit to be stitched. As you all knows, the month of Ramadan is going through, so everybody wishes to wear new clothes on the religious day called "Eid al-fitr".

On this day, people used to wear new clothes, forget all the previous brabble, and prepare the sweet dishes to serve the guests.
According to our beliefs, we know that by distributing the sweet dishes, we get rewards from GOD. It also brings the relationship of brotherhoods between different persons

Yesterday, I had a chance to visit the tailor's shop nearest to my house 🏡. I had to stitch 2 suits for Eid day, I asked him to stitch them within 20 days, he was looking at my face and started smiling,😹 As 20 days was quite enough time to get it done ✅ . But he refused to do so.

I was disappointed 😞 and asked the reason why did you refused to do so. He said we had to stitch 200 suits within 20 days with is equal to 200/20 == 10 suits per day. There were 2 tailors who had to do so and make it done within required time span. They were also very attention to time span as they had to finish them at any cost. Because customers has to wear those on a specific day ☺️.

After a lot of discussion, I asked him to stitch only 1 instead of 2. He again refused to so and become angry 😡. Then I keep calm and sit down to the chair.🪑

After few minutes, he said it's okay I will stitch your 1 suite, but you can get it after 19 days. This moment was very interesting and happy for me because no other tailor was taking this responsibility due to the rush.

So each and every tailor around the Muslim countries is so busy. They already booked and stopped new booking. As they have to plan how much they can stitch within 30 days. It also depends upon their manpower and the most interesting factor in our country is load shedding which also affect the number of suits to get it done ✅.

In our country, the average stitching prices are as follows...

FeaturesPrice
Single line stitching$6
Double line stitching$8
Pent shirt$12
Trouser$5
Pent coat$20
Waistcoat$9

note : all these rates are for gents items

The rates depends upon every country's economy and other many factors

What are the rates in your country? And do you know the tailors are also busy in your countries as well??
