I Got Married, Back into January 2022

Hello friends, I hope you are fine and enjoying your life with your family and friends.

How did i got married?

Let me tell you about my new journey of life, that I started 3 months ago. I Got married ALHAMDULILLAH. Everybody has to get married one day, that is fixed by GOD.

In our country, wedding ceremony has 3 days that includes different happy occasions. I am sharing this story according to the traditions and custom of my country (Pakistan). As every country has it's own wedding traditions and custom, so far I don't know about others countries. If some body want to share the traditions of his country, that would be really appreciated and it would increase my knowledge about the other countries traditions as well.

These days are the as following...

  1. Mehndi
  2. Barat
  3. Walima

Mehndi (It's First day)

Mehndi This is very first day, All relatives and family members arrived on this day to participate the happy moments of someone's wedding. They brings alot of gifts and sweets to enjoy this day. On this day, we welcomed all my relatives, friends family members and other people from the neighborhood. We have planned to arrange this function in the rooftop, but the rain started before this day and continues for next 2 days ☔🌧️ so we decided to arrange it in the nearest marriage hall. We book the hall on immediate basis with extra charges. All the family members moving towards the Hall at 7:00 PM. We served delicious 😋 dinner, "daal chawal, chicken qourma, Naan and cold drinks and at the end with the tasty tea 🍵☕"

All people were fresh and healthy after having delicious dinner 🥣🍽️. Then we started the actual function with the guitars and drums 🥁🛢️. My brothers and cousins started dance in front of the drum also shower Pakistani currency 💵💲 notes to show their love and happiness. Then we had a lot of small occasions like " Rasm e Hina", wrist bracelet and much more. This night was very happy and interesting. Everybody enjoyed alot.

Barat (It's Secondand Nikkah day )

This is second day of wedding and very important day, this day groom get ready with wear different types of dresses. I got ready from the parlor and wore the "Sherwaani" (a beautiful dress for groom). we moved towards bridal's house they arranged the function to the nearest marriage hall which was decorated with flowers and other decoration material.

They welcomed us with the flowers and horse dancing tradition. Then the Nikah ceremony begin started, which includes 3 person's witness, Signatures from both parties, and the recite from the Holy Quran-e-Pak. At the end, all people wish to the both parties with the new journey in the life. Then they served with the lunch that was very delicious.

Dishes served in the Barat' s Lunch

  • Chicken Qourma
  • Chicken Steamed Roast
  • Carrot's Pudding ( A sweet dish consisting of carrots or semolina boiled with milk, almonds, sugar, butter, and cardamom )
  • Russian Salad
  • Naan
  • Cold Drinks
  • Green Tea

The lunch was so tasty we all enjoyed a lot. Then different traditionally occasions were celebrated along with newly married couple with best wished and prayers. Then bridal comes to her long living hometown/house to start the new chapter of her life.

Walima Day (It's 3rd but final day)

This is second day after getting married, on this day, the parents and relatives come towards groom's side to enjoy the happy moments and to bring the new couple to their home for 1 day.

As this was our day to arrange each and everything, so we had already booked the Grand Marquee nearest to the home, which was very beautiful and well decorated.

First of all, the bridal and groom entry started with flowers, songs, focus lights and artificial firecrakers. It was very import and interesting moment, Everybody started to make pictures and movies from their cell phones. Flowers machine started sprinkling flowers. Then we sit on the stage, it was about 3:30PM, everybody was feeling so hungry and then lunch started.

Dishes served in the Walima' s Lunch

  • Mutton Qourma
  • Chicken Soup
  • Beef Kabab
  • Chicken Steamed Roast
  • Ice Cream
  • Egg's Pudding ( A sweet dish consisting of Eggs , semolina boiled with milk, almonds, sugar, coconuts, butter, and cardamom )
  • Special Russian Salad
  • Roghni Naan
  • Cold Drinks
  • Green Tea

The lunch was so tasty. It seems that, everybody is enjoying the tasty dishes. In short, each all these 3 days, were full of joy and happiness. Everybody was so happy. Everybody wishes us both, the best of luck and give us prayers. Then everybody returned to their home. This is all about my wedding and the end of this story.
